Grant Normandin of Infinite Realm http://www.infiniterealm.org/
is a singer and songwriter with over 100 original compositions under his
belt.
Not only does he compose and perform his own songs he has written allot of lyrics for other bands. Grant
A.K.A "GREYBLUE" has helped other songwriters
with lyrics and singing techniques and is known by many as "the word
man". For an example of how Grant has added lyrics to and to hear a
small sample of his singing abilities you can go to
http://grantnormandin.50megs.com/GrantNormandinRadio1.wma and you'll be
surprised at who has written the music on this sample (let's just say
"YES"). Grant is currently working on the long awaited CD with
at least 11 to 12 of his songs including the "Oh Jen Jen song" and the "Hope Faith Love" song (and rumor has it the CD will have a few hidden
tracks with 2 songs he co-wrote with his older brother Glenn. One named
"The Desert" and one name "Pass Puff Puff"
Why this name?
Grant Normandin is the name I was born with but
Infinite Realm was chosen over a decade ago because it seeks to express
how we here on the Earth (the physical realm) are really inside made up
of the spirit (the infinite) and that if we put our minds to it we can do
all things and with God all things are possible for God is Infinite and
Spirit. This is a small version of what it really means but that would
take a book to really explain.
Do you play live?
Grant Normandin has played live on the streets
and at private parties all his life. He is GREYBLUE on www.paltalk.com
and ran Greyblue's Music Room for quite a long
time. He has played in Boston
,Worcester,
and downtown Eye of the Commonwealth
since he was a teen. He loves to see the audience reaction He has and
intends to do so more played live on TV on The
Infinite Realm Show where he was doing this on local access
he plans on doing so on a different TV station
soon. details can be found at
http://www.infiniterealm.org/donation.htm
His favorite moment was playing at his wedding for his wife the song
"Oh Jen Jen" at the wedding. It
rained that day but not until after he played
the song (oh yes and they said I do)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music
industry?
The Internet has opened up a huge door (or window) to enable people of
all nations races and areas to be able to communicate and share ideas and
music and lets just say thank Jesus that you can now talk to anyone
anywhere anytime in any language. MP3 and all other formats are a
Godsend. One of my favorite things to do is do multi-track
recording on the Computer and I save songs in almost every
format there is to hear the differences
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
But of course. The idea is to reach as many
people as much of the time as possible so I may consider it if the idea
was to spread my music across the globe even
better than I have. I may. Hmm good question because if I (LORD Wiling)
had the funds I would love to start my own label and it's ironic that you
asked that. But if I did sign with a major label it would most likely be
a contract that would set me free someday to pursue my own visions and
goals. Of course it takes money to make money so
unless I get a break soon I would have to look to ways of making the
money needed to do so. yes indeed Infinite Realm
Records sounds nice or Grant Normandin Music
sounds even better. Either way as long as the music gets out and I am not
signing my soul away I would absolutely consider
it.
Band History:
Ever since Grant Normandin was able to talk he
has been creating songs and singing. He has did
many years of being a street musician. He has jammed with many people and
collaborated with many bands. He is currently
working on The new and improved "Infinite Realm Show" which
will feature allot of interviews with famous performers actors and celebrities and will feature
Grant singing some of his songs too. Grant as CEO of Infinite Realm
Computer & Music Services also wants to offer FREE
computer lessons too (if possible) on TV. Grant is not religious but has
been known to compose songs of praise and original
Christian
songs but at the same time some of his songs seem just the opposite but he believes in treating people the way
wants to be treated with respect and tries to promote peace when he can.
Grant sings about life and love and some of his songs
sound
like something out of The Woodstock 69 Movie while others sound like
something from Jesus Christ Superstar and then some of his songs are Rap,
R&B, Country, disco, etc Grant likes
all kinds of music and has written songs in all types.
